Our lawyers in Zimbabwe have experience advising in regards to asset based lending and receivables financing. 

We advise banks, finance houses, sponsors and corporates globally on a range of finance transactions, including asset-based lending, receivables financing, supply chain finance, consignment and title finance, distribution and transit finance and non-recourse structures, among others.

Experience has included advising:

  • On the securitization of stock in a goods in transit transaction. This mandate involved the assessment of the types of registrable security over movable goods in Zimbabwe.
  • A foreign private equity firm on a USD20 million multi-jurisdictional supply chain financing transaction.
  • A Zimbabwean bank on a USD4.1 million collateral management facility.
  • Advised a Zimbabwean bank on a USD10 million debt security swap for inter–related mining companies.
