Experience has included advising:
- A Zimbabwean bank on a USD20 million revolving facility for out grower financing scheme for farmers in the agricultural sector. This mandate involved the drafting of tripartite agreements between the various parties to this scheme (the promoters, farmers/outgrowers and the financier), drafting the relevant Agri-Loan Facility.
- A South African Development Finance Institution on a USD30 million line of credit facility to an agricultural financial institution for the procurement of certain goods from South Africa to Zimbabwe for onward lending by the borrower to its customers in Zimbabwe.
- A regional financial institution on a USD46 million stock purchase facility provided by the client to a borrower for the purchase of brown sugar.
