Geni & Kebe helps state raise 300 million dollars
The State of Senegal recently raised $300 million with the assistance of Geni & Kebe and J.P. Morgan. The $300 million covers Senegal's financing needs for the year of 2024. Mame Ngoné Sow, Director of Finance and Projects Department, led our efforts in advising on the transaction.
Geni & Kebe worked with J.P. Morgan and Senegal's Finance and Budget Ministry. According to a Ministry press release, the fundraising strengthens Senegal's position as a credible and transparent issuer on the international market.
The transaction was fully subscribed by J.P. Morgan and allows Senegal to benefit from a %6.33 interest rate. The deal was completed through a EURUSD cross currency swap.
