A Senegalese public state company recently finalized an agreement to start a road construction project totaling 774 million euros. The program covers more than 70 road construction projects in Senegal, representing 2,700 km of roads throughout the country. Our firm assisted the public state company, FERA, with legal assistance throughout the negotiation and signature phase for the project's financing. 

The program aims to build roads throughout Senegal. Areas of high economic potential are expected to benefit from increased mobility. More than 300 local subcontractors and 60 Senegalese companies have been assigned work. The project will create more than 50,000 jobs directly impacting 11 million people.  

We assisted FERA on negotiation and reviewing all the financial documents relating to the transaction. We also assisted the Senegalese government with regard to the sovereign guarantee. 

The project will occur over a three year period.
