GENI & KEBE advised the African Development Bank in Malicounda Power Plant Project (Senegal)
Geni & Kebe provided diligent legal counsel for financial lenders supporting the development of a 120 MW thermal power plant in Malicounda. The power plant project is expected to increase generating capacity in Senegal while reducing costs. Serving as legal counsel to a group of financial lenders including the African Development Bank, Geni & Kebe’s due diligence assisted with securing financing for the project, which is expected to cost an estimated 153 million euros. The firm entrusted key counsel to secure the finance agreement including core members: Partner Mohamed Dieng, Associate Mouhamadou Bassirou Balde, and Associate Ismael Itoua.
