Jenny has been practising as an attorney since 2011 and has experience in a broad range of contractual, commercial and delictual litigation matters. She currently focuses on High Court and Supreme Court litigation in respect of civil matters.
She is a qualified conveyancer since 2013 with experience in property transfers, company registrations, trust registrations and contract drafting. She is also an accredited court connected mediator of the High Court of Namibia.
Her clients range from individuals (inside and outside Namibia) to large companies. She often acts as correspondent for other law firms not based in Namibia that need to institute or defend matters in the Namibian High Court or Supreme Court.
Her experience has included advising:
- International and local clients on obtaining land lease certificates in Namibia in respect of the Land Reform Act 5 of 2002
- International correspondent legal practitioners to institute action in the High Court of Namibia regarding the distribution of a deceased estate and successfully defending an appeal to the Supreme Court of Namibia in respect of the same matter
- Clients in urgent High Court proceeds concerning various actions such as the release of funds, eviction and interpleaders
- And litigating in the lower and higher courts in collections in terms of the Sectional Titles Act, family law matters, matrimonial matters, contractual, commercial and delictual litigation matters, sequestration and liquidation matters
- On non-litigious matters such as liquor license applications, registrations of trusts, close corporations, companies, trademarks, industrial designs, conveyancing matters and drafting of contracts
