Nyoni Matsolo is a Jurist and Junior Consultant of the Immigration and NGOs Practice Group, provides legal advice in matters related to Immigration, with experience in Administrative Law, Administrative Litigation and Labor Law. Provides legal assistance on the registration of NGOs, processes of work authorization and visas for foreigners, and issues such as project cessation and mergers of NGOs.
Professional Qualifications
- Assisting in matters of Migratory Law, Administrative Law, Administrative Litigation and Labor Law;
- Registration of NGOs;
- Assisting in obtaining certificates of equivalence;
- Assisting in the entry, stay and exit of foreign citizens of the country;
- Advising on Communications and Work Permits;
- Assisting in the submission of DIREs (Residence Permit);
- Assisting in the submission of Work Communications within the quota, Work Permits and Short-Term Work Communications;
- Assisting in obtaining work visas;
- Assisting in obtaining certificates of equivalence of studies obtained abroad;
- Coordinating with embassies and immigration authorities to obtain information regarding the entry, stay and exit of foreign citizens in Mozambique;
- Assisting in obtaining border visas, Tourism visa, Visitor Visa, Student Visa, Business Visa, Work Visa among others;
- Assisting in Migratory and Labor Obligations such as communication of stay abroad for more than 90 days or 5 years by the holders of the temporary and Permanent DIRE;
- Communication of termination, termination or expiry of the contract and return of DIRE to Migration Services;
- Communication of the change of marital status and profession;
- Assisting in the Acquisition of Mozambican Nationality by means of marriage;
- Assisting in the exchange of foreign driving licenses by Mozambican;
- Assisting in the Constitution of Commercial Companies (Companies), opening branches, obtaining a license for the exercise of commercial activity; regularization of obligations such as declaration of initiation of activities in finance, registration of workers in the Mandatory National Social Security System;
- Assisting in various issues related to Migratory and Labor Law;
- Assisting in the monitoring of work permits, visas, certificates of equivalence and other requests submitted to the Public Administration;
- Monitoring of expiration dates and advice on the start of the document renewal process;
- Collecting up-to-date information on changes in labor and migration practices.
