Courage Ssewanyana’s practice covers Employment, Pensions, and International Organizations advisory. Courage advises on a range of matters: regulatory compliance, employment and pensions, contracts drafting, reviews, renewals and termination, commercial law, real estate, non-governmental organization taxation, project operations, and dispute resolution. Courage also specializes in all aspects of employment and employee benefits law, both contentious and non-contentious, and works with general and in-house counsel, employment advisers and directly with the operation in handling employment and benefits issues.

Experience has included advising:

  • Providing routine legal advice to several international organisations including University Research Co. LLC, Living Goods, Innovation for Poverty Action, Church World Service, Trees for the Future, Marie Stopes International and International Food Policy Research Institute, on matters relating to legal and regulatory compliance, support and advise on routine employment issues such as terms of engagement, disciplinary matters, and grievance handling.
  • Advising a leading green energy company on restructuring and effecting redundancies.
  • Advising leading financial and manufacturing corporates on handling medical incapacity and workers' compensation claims. 
  • Conducting a specialised internal employee investigation for a leading financial sector player in Uganda. 
  • Conducting human resource policies and procedure manual reviews for leading international organizations and local corporations​​
