Overview

Oluwamayowa Daodu is a member of the Finance and Projects practice group.  He advises a wide range of clients on matters pertaining to finance and projects in the financial, energy and natural resources sectors in Nigeria. He also advises clients on establishment of businesses including foreign investment in Nigeria and compliance obligations across various sectors in Nigeria.

Oluwamayowa advises on transactions involving corporate restructuring and assists clients with drafting, negotiating and reviewing of commercial agreements.

 

Experience

Experience has included advising:

  • As a team member, a Nigerian energy company on its acquisition of majority interest in an electricity distribution company and in carrying out due diligence in preparation for the acquisition;
  • As a team member, a leading African exploration and production company in relation to the reconstruction of its N115 medium-term facility with a syndicate of Nigerian Banks;
  • As a team member, a multinational company on the issuance of its N10 Billion commercial paper program;
  • As a team member, a State Government in Nigeria on its N30 Billion note issuance by private placement;
  • As a team member, a leading British power company on the establishment and financing of a Nigerian subsidiary for provision of affordable power in Nigeria.
